First School Meeting

Hello everyone!

The first official club meeting for this year will be on Tuesday, September 13th - everyone is welcome to come! New members are welcome, as well as anyone interested in photography that would like to see what we do. We will be updating our member list, and talking about everything we plan to do this year - hope to see you there!

(I will hang posters in the halls to remind everyone of the dates!)

Mr. Laffey

As some of you may have already heard, our advisor Mr. Laffey has passed away. He had been struggling with cancer for some time, and he died on Monday night. Mr. Laffey did many amazing things for our club, so please be sure to keep him in your prayers. 

As a tribute to his memory, the Photo Club will be making a slideshow to play during the fall band concert. It will be filled with pictures of memories of Mr. Laffey to honor everything that he has done for us. If any of you have pictures that you would like to contribute, please email them to one of the officers or bring a digital copy of them to our first meeting next year. We will be using the first meeting to put the slideshow together. I hope you all have a great rest of summer break, and please take some time to reflect on everything that Mr. Laffey has done for us.


Rest In Peace, Mr. Laffey.

Welcome to the new Athens Drive Photoclub Blog!

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the new adhs photoclub blog. In order to post and follow the blog, you'll need to create a google and blogger account which is free and very simple! Just click the "sign up" button, and follow the instructions. Then, be sure to follow the blog! :)
Hopefully we'll be able to move all of the photos to another site where you will be able to upload them, and then they will be displayed in a slideshow on this page. For now, the image in the top right hand corner links to our facebook page (soon to be archived).
Thank you so much for continuing to upload your photos! They all look wonderful! We will keep in touch through this blog over the summer and set things up for next year.
