As some of you may have already heard, our advisor Mr. Laffey has passed away. He had been struggling with cancer for some time, and he died on Monday night. Mr. Laffey did many amazing things for our club, so please be sure to keep him in your prayers.
As a tribute to his memory, the Photo Club will be making a slideshow to play during the fall band concert. It will be filled with pictures of memories of Mr. Laffey to honor everything that he has done for us. If any of you have pictures that you would like to contribute, please email them to one of the officers or bring a digital copy of them to our first meeting next year. We will be using the first meeting to put the slideshow together. I hope you all have a great rest of summer break, and please take some time to reflect on everything that Mr. Laffey has done for us.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Laffey.
